SDCLOA officials are required to attend a minimum of six (6) meetings,
two (2) on-field scrimmage assignments, and pass the
NFHS test in order to be considered a member-in-good standing.
It is fully expected that COC officials will exemplify professionalism and accountability by attending the same number of meetings and
participating in the on-field mentoring of high school officials.
Failure by either high school officials to meet the minimum requirements
or college officials to meet the expectations of the MDOC and SDCLOA
can result in a loss or lack of assignments at both levels.
This is a point-of-emphasis for 2009 and beyond.
The SDCLOA Board of Directors have notified your assigner of this mandate.
